On Tuesday 19 March 2024, SCA board member Jochem Willemsen will give a keynote lecture at the Sigmund Freud University in Ljubljana on the topic ‘What can we learn from a single case?’ The Sigmund Freud University organizes a conference on professional and personal development of psychotherapists and psychologists. Jochem Willemsen will talk about the role of the case study as a didactical tool that is coherent with the thinking style that therapists use in clinical practice. In reference to his earlier work on this topic, he will develop the central concept of thinking in cases in relation to the context of psychotherapy training.
