APSAA and PPRS January meeting – Single case symposium announced

On January 14-19th, we will present the Single Case Archive at the annual meeting of the American Psychoanalytic Association (APSAA) and Psychodynamic Psychoanalytic Research Society (PPRS) in New York. Most likely, many authors of case studies included in the Single Case Archive will be there. In our session we will explain the scientific context and arguments for single case research, give a new status report on the archive (including results from a survey on psychoanalytic schools), distinghuish between different types of case studies and explain how published single cases can be used as data sources for investigating clinically oriented research questions. Furthermore, we will give a workshop on the use of the archive for clinicians.
