Over the past 18 months, Garance Paimparet has completed an update of the Single Case Archive. As she completed her MSc in adult clinical psychology at UCLouvain, she selected and coded 209 psychotherapy case studies published in the years 2020 to 2022. Garace is now moving on to new pastures: she is starting a PhD project on the effects of childhood trauma in adulthood. We thank Garance for her contribution in expanding the archive with rigor and dedication!
Following intensive training in the IBISC coding framework (Meganck et al., 2017), Garance systematically identified and coded single-case studies published between 2020 and 2022. Her meticulous work has resulted in the inclusion of 76 case studies from 2020, 70 from 2021, and 63 from 2022, each carefully selected and coded in accordance with the high standards that define the SCA. These new entries are now accessible via the SCA search engine, ensuring that the archive remains a vital and up-to-date resource for psychotherapy researchers, clinicians, and students.
This update was funded by the Psychological Sciences Research Institute (UCLouvain) and made possible through the collaborative efforts of UCLouvain (Jochem Willemsen), Ghent University (Reitske Meganck), and HAN University of Applied Sciences (Juri Krivzov).
